“Desconstructo” is a visual research on the physical vestiges of abandoned objects and buildings found in São Paulo, Brazil.
Since the XVII century, when a small town was built over an indigenous village, the biggest south-American metropolis has been permanently expanding its borders on a constant autophagic development.
Every days, thousands of constructos are abandoned in the city, becoming part of the local landscape till be transformed to give place for a new objects or enterprises. This way, the biggest south-American metropolis has been constantly expanding its borders on a frenetic autophagic development.
